MIRZA KUDIĆ

Auditor General of the Audit Office for Institutions in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina

Born on April 18, 1981, in Sarajevo, Mirza Kudić began his academic journey at the Faculty of Economics at the University of Sarajevo, where he graduated in 2008, earning the title of Bachelor of Economics. His dedication to economics and the public sector continued through further education, and he is currently a graduate student at the Faculty of Economics at the University of Ljubljana, Republic of Slovenia, with a focus on the public sector and environmental protection. Additionally, in 2016, he obtained the internal auditor license for the public sector, further strengthening his competencies in auditing and public funds management.

His professional experience spans various positions within the Parliament of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, where he gained knowledge and experience in areas such as finance and accounting, budgeting, public procurement, internal and external auditing, and financial management and control.

He began his career in 2010 at the professional service of the House of Peoples of the Parliament of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, serving as a professional associate in the Committee for Economic and Development Policy, Finance and Budget, and the Committee for Economy of the House of Peoples of the Parliament of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Furthermore, he continued his career as the Secretary of the Parliamentary Committee responsible for auditing, and from 2019 to 2022, he served as the coordinator for financial management and control in the Parliament of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Since 2022, he has held the position of Head of the Internal Audit Unit in the Parliament of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, in the capacity of Assistant Secretary for both houses of the Parliament of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Throughout his career, as a member of boards and committees, he has actively participated in providing expert opinions, as well as in the preparation of drafts and proposals for laws, amendments, and other acts. He was also involved in reviewing the final report on the work of the Audit Office for Institutions in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, as well as other reports submitted to Parliament by the Audit Office, and played a key role in ensuring oversight of the quality of the Audit Office’s work and other matters within its jurisdiction, in accordance with the Audit Law.

He possesses excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills, and thanks to continuous professional development, he holds relevant certifications in auditing, human resource management, public procurement, the implementation of the CAF model for quality management, and many other fields. His wide range of experience, positions, and education makes him an expert who contributes to the improvement of public resource management and financial discipline, leaving a significant mark in the institutions of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

As the Auditor General of the Audit Office for Institutions in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Mirza Kudić will continue to contribute to transparency and accountability in the public sector.
